Apparteneva alla generazione dei carri multi-torretta in voga tra gli anni Venti e Trenta e disponeva per questo di un equipaggio composto da 6 membri. Armato di un pezzo controcarro da 40 mm (2 pounder) e tre mitragliatrici Vickers, una nella torretta principale e le altre nelle due torrette secondarie, difettava in protezione: la corazza, infatti aveva uno spessore compreso tra i 6 e i 14 mm. I reparti del corpo di spedizione in Francia (B.E.F.) e in Egitto furono inizialmente provvisti di questo mezzo, che però sin da subito venne visto come provvisorio, in attesa dell'entrata in servizio di carri più potenti. Ad ogni modo, continuò ad essere utilizzato sino a tutto il 1941. It belonged to the generation of multi-turret tanks in vogue between the 1920s and 1930s and therefore had a crew of 6 members. Armed with a 40 mm (2 pounder) anti-tank piece and three Vickers machine guns, one in the main turret and the others in the two secondary turrets, it lacked protection: the armor, in fact, was between 6 and 14 mm thick. The units of the expeditionary force in France (B.E.F.) and Egypt were initially equipped with this vehicle, which, however, was immediately seen as temporary, waiting for the entry into service of more powerful tanks. However, it continued to be used until the end of 1941.
