Il carro medio M14/41 è la diretta evoluzione del suo predecessore, M13/40, ed è stato sviluppato nel 1941 per tentare di porre rimedio ad alcuni difetti mostrati dal modello originario alla prova dei combattimenti. Rispetto alla II serie dell'M13, vengono installati nuovamente i parafanghi lunghi, visto che quelli corti si erano dimostrati inadatti alla guerra nel deserto: il veicolo in marcia, infatti, sollevava così troppa polvere, rendendo il reparto ancor più visibile al nemico.
Esteriormente le modifiche più visibili rispetto all'M13 erano la disposizione delle griglie di raffreddamento del motore, parallele all'asse del carro e non più trasversali, e l'introduzione di palette caccia-fango alla ruota motrice. Il modello Mussini riprodotto in scala 1/72 si rifà all'esemplare catturato dai britannici ed esposto al Tank museum di Bovington e presenta il martinetto di sollevamento sul parafango destro.
Entrato in linea nel corso del 1942, l'M14/41 venne impiegato dai reparti corazzati italiani in tutte le operazioni fino alla conclusione della guerra in Africa. Lo scafo venne anche utilizzato per la produzione dei semoventi M41 da 75/18.
In ogni confezione Mussini c'è un M14/41 diviso in 6 parti: lo scafo superiore, quello inferiore, i due blocchi di cingoli e ruote e due torrette, una con gli sportelli aperti e l'altra con gli sportelli chiusi. E' incluso anche il figurino di un capocarro.

The M14/41 medium tank is the direct evolution of its predecessor, the M13/40, and was developed in 1941 to try to remedy some defects shown by the original model in combat trials. Compared to the II series of the M13, the long fenders were re-installed, given that the short ones had proved unsuitable for warfare in the desert: in fact, the moving vehicle raised too much dust, making the unit even more visible to the enemy.
Externally, the most visible changes compared to the M13 were the arrangement of the engine cooling grids, parallel to the axis of the tank and no longer transversal, and the introduction of mud-chasing vanes on the driving wheel. The Mussini model reproduced in 1/72 scale refers to the tank captured by the British and exhibited at the Bovington Tank Museum and has the lifting jack on the right fender.
Entered online during 1942, the M14/41 was used by the Italian armored regiments in all operations up to the conclusion of the war in Africa. The hull was also used for the production of the self-propelled gun M41 with the 75/18 howitzer.
In every Mussini package there is an M14/41 divided into 6 parts: the upper hull, the lower one, the two blocks of tracks and wheels and two turrets, one with the doors open and the other with the doors closed. A commander figure is also included.
