Il Breda BA65 "Nibbio" fu un un monomotore d'assalto ad ala bassa prodotto in Italia dal 1936 e il 1939 in 218 esemplari. Venne impiegato soprattutto durante la Guerra civile spagnola, sotto le insegne dell'aviazione legionaria, e sul fronte libico fino all'inizio del 1941. Inizialmente progettato come aereo monoposto, nella versione BA65bis venne trasformato in biposto con l'aggiunta di una torretta dorsale per una mitragliatrice difensiva da 12,7 mm. Questo comportò un aumento di peso di circa 500 kg e una diminuzione della velocità massima di 20 km/h. Impiegato in Spagna come aereo multiruolo, il Nibbio fallì come intercettore e ricognitore, mentre ottenne giudizi positivi come velivolo d'attacco al suolo, anche in virtù del suo potente armamento (per l'epoca) che consisteva in 4 mitragliatrici frontali, 2 da 7,7 mm e 2 da 12,7, ed 1 mitragliatrice da 12,7 brandeggiabile nella torretta dorsale, oltre alle bombe nel vano interno e nelle rastrelliere sub-alari per un totale di 500 kg (1000 teorici). L'entrata in guerra dell'Italia nel giugno 1940 videro il Nibbio ormai superato e sostituito nei reparti dal più moderno Breda BA88. Le terribili performance di quest'ultimo apparecchio, però, obbligarono i vertici aeronautici a bloccare la radiazione dei BA65 e a spedirne tutti gli esemplari in Libia per operare come aereo d'assalto contro le colonne blindate inglesi. In questo compito, i Nibbio si dimostrarono ancora validi e ottennero buoni risultati. L'ultimo apparecchio ancora operativo venne perduto nel febbraio 1941.

The Breda BA65 "Nibbio" was a single-engine low-wing assault engine produced in Italy from 1936 and 1939 in 218 units. It was mainly used during the Spanish Civil War, under the insignia of Aviazione Legionaria (the Nationalist Airforce), and on the Libyan front until the beginning of 1941. Initially designed as a single-seat aircraft, in the BA65bis version it was transformed into a two-seater with the addition of a dorsal turret for a 12.7 mm defensive machine gun. This resulted in a weight increase of around 500 kg and a decrease in the maximum speed of 20 km/h. Used in Spain as a multi-role aircraft, the "Nibbio" failed as an interceptor and reconnaissance aircraft, while it obtained positive judgments as a ground attack aircraft, because of its powerful armament (for the time) which consisted of 4 frontal machine guns, two 7.7 mm and two 12.7, and one machine gun calibre 12.7 pivoting in the dorsal turret, in addition to the bombs in the internal compartment and in the sub-wing racks for a total of 500 kg (1000 theoretical). The entry into the war of Italy in June 1940 saw the Ba65 now overtaken and replaced in the squadrons by the more modern Breda BA88. The terrible performance of the latter, however, forced the aeronautical leaders to block the radiation of the BA65s and to send all the specimens to Libya to operate as an assault plane against the British armoured columns. In this task, the Nibbio still proved valid and obtained good results. The last still operational plane was lost in February 1941.
The Breda BA65 in 1/200 scale measures 4.65 cm length and 6.1 wingspan. In each package of Mussini models there are 2 Nibbio. It is up to the customer to choose whether to have the single-seater or two-seater version.

Returning the goods
After notifying us of your withdrawal you have 14 days to send the products back to us. The item must be returned in its original packaging, with all the parts intact as at the time of delivery. You are responsible for any diminished value of the goods resulting from handling other than what is necessary to establish their nature, characteristics and functioning.
The cost of returning the goods is at your expense, except where the product is damaged or not as described, in which case we bear it.
Refund
We will refund you all payments received, including the cost of standard outbound delivery, within 14 days of the day on which we are informed of your withdrawal. If, when placing the order, you chose a more expensive delivery than the standard one we offer, the difference remains at your expense.
We may withhold the refund until we have received the goods back or until you supply evidence of having sent them back, whichever happens first. The refund is made using the same means of payment used for the purchase, at no additional cost to you.
When the right of withdrawal does not apply
The right of withdrawal does not apply to goods made to measure or clearly personalised (art. 59 of the Italian Consumer Code). This category includes models painted on request and work carried out specifically for you: we always tell you before confirming the order.
Damaged, missing or defective products
If one or more items arrive damaged, or if something is missing, write to us straight away at info@mussinisas.it, attaching a photo if possible. We will send the missing or damaged parts, or replace the whole product, at no cost to you.
In addition to the right of withdrawal, as a consumer you are entitled to the 24-month legal guarantee of conformity from delivery, provided for by articles 128 et seq. of the Italian Consumer Code. In the event of a lack of conformity you may request the repair or replacement of the goods and, under the conditions laid down by law, a price reduction or the termination of the contract.
Where we accept returns from
We accept returns from any country. For purchases made outside the European Union the same conditions described here apply; any customs duties and import taxes already paid are not refundable by us.
