In den Weiten der libyschen Wüste haben im Zweiten Weltkrieg nur wenige Einheiten die Fantasie so beflügelt wie die Long Range Desert Group (LRDG). Als echte „Geisterpatrouille“ war die Einheit auf robuste, stark umgebaute Fahrzeuge angewiesen, um Tausende Kilometer hinter den feindlichen Linien zu überleben. Unter ihnen ist der Chevrolet WA 30 cwt (1,5 Tonnen) zweifellos die Ikone schlechthin.
Jetzt wird diese Fahrzeuglegende Teil unserer Kollektion von Militärfahrzeugen im Maßstab 1:72 – als Resin-Bausatz, gedruckt in 12K-Auflösung mit extrem feinen Details.
Ein komplettes Set: nicht nur ein Fahrzeug, sondern ein Diorama
Der eigentliche Mehrwert dieser Ausgabe ist der Packungsinhalt: Er ist darauf ausgelegt, eine vollständige Einsatzszene nachzubilden, ohne auf Zubehör von Drittanbietern zurückgreifen zu müssen.
1. Besatzung und Bewaffnung
Der Bausatz enthält 4 Figuren in realistischen Posen, die im oder um das Fahrzeug platziert werden können. Für die Nahverteidigung liegt die klassische Lafettenstange für das Lewis-MG bei, die auf der Ladefläche montiert wird, dazu die Lee-Enfield-Dienstgewehre – unverzichtbar für die Scharmützel in der Wüste.
2. Logistik und Überleben
Die Ladefläche eines LRDG-Lkw war ein rollendes Lager. Der Bausatz liefert alles, was Sie brauchen, um das Modell zu „beladen“:
Jerrycans und Treibstofffässer: unverzichtbar für Langstreckeneinsätze.
Decken und Planen: zur Montage auf den vorderen Halterungen (zum Schutz der Besatzung vor dem eisigen Nachtwind) oder zum Verstauen auf der Ladefläche.
Sandsäcke: oft als improvisierter ballistischer Schutz entlang der Bordwände verwendet.
3. Bergungswerkzeug
Die Wüste ist ein gnadenloser Gegner. Deshalb enthält das Set die typischen gelochten Sandbleche (sand channels). Dieses Zubehör, dank Resin äußerst fein wiedergegeben, war lebenswichtig, um den Chevrolet freizubekommen, wenn die Räder im „Fech-Fech“ oder in Wanderdünen versanken.
Tipps für Modellbauer
Dank der sehr hohen Qualität des 12K-Drucks ist die Vorbereitung auf ein Minimum reduziert. Wir empfehlen eine spezielle Grundierung für Resin, damit die Acrylfarben gut haften.
Der LRDG-Chevrolet bietet unzählige Möglichkeiten für Weathering: vom typischen „Caunter Scheme“ bis zu stark abgeriebenen sandfarbenen Tarnanstrichen, bei denen Washings und ockerfarbene Pigmente jedes noch so kleine Detail aus dem 3D-Druck zur Geltung bringen.
Fazit
Dieser Bausatz ist nicht nur ein Modell, sondern eine technische und historische Hommage. Die Kombination aus Maßstab 1:72 – ideal für Sammler und Wargaming – und 12K-Auflösung bietet einen Realismus, der neue Maßstäbe in der Branche setzt. So kann jeder Liebhaber ein kleines, bis ins Detail gestaltetes Stück Wüstengeschichte besitzen.

Returning the goods
After notifying us of your withdrawal you have 14 days to send the products back to us. The item must be returned in its original packaging, with all the parts intact as at the time of delivery. You are responsible for any diminished value of the goods resulting from handling other than what is necessary to establish their nature, characteristics and functioning.
The cost of returning the goods is at your expense, except where the product is damaged or not as described, in which case we bear it.
Refund
We will refund you all payments received, including the cost of standard outbound delivery, within 14 days of the day on which we are informed of your withdrawal. If, when placing the order, you chose a more expensive delivery than the standard one we offer, the difference remains at your expense.
We may withhold the refund until we have received the goods back or until you supply evidence of having sent them back, whichever happens first. The refund is made using the same means of payment used for the purchase, at no additional cost to you.
When the right of withdrawal does not apply
The right of withdrawal does not apply to goods made to measure or clearly personalised (art. 59 of the Italian Consumer Code). This category includes models painted on request and work carried out specifically for you: we always tell you before confirming the order.
Damaged, missing or defective products
If one or more items arrive damaged, or if something is missing, write to us straight away at info@mussinisas.it, attaching a photo if possible. We will send the missing or damaged parts, or replace the whole product, at no cost to you.
In addition to the right of withdrawal, as a consumer you are entitled to the 24-month legal guarantee of conformity from delivery, provided for by articles 128 et seq. of the Italian Consumer Code. In the event of a lack of conformity you may request the repair or replacement of the goods and, under the conditions laid down by law, a price reduction or the termination of the contract.

We accept returns from any country. For purchases made outside the European Union the same conditions described here apply; any customs duties and import taxes already paid are not refundable by us.
