The Horch 901 (Kraftfahrzeug 15) was one of numerous vehicles of the Einheits-Personenkraftwagen (standardized passenger car) type and was produced in Zwickau by Horch, which was part of the Auto Union group. It was used by the Wehrmacht for the army's communications and command needs and had a structure borrowed from civilian vehicles of the same category. It had a 3000 cc engine and 90 horsepower, but the weight of the vehicle was high, especially the convertible version, which exceeded 3 tons, and this decreased its performance. Furthermore, when running outside roads, the considerable distance between the axles compromised its mobility. But although the army had decided to replace it, the Horch 901 was used during the Second World War on every fronts as a vehicle for commanders and for radio communications.

In each Mussini package there is a model of the Horch 901 which includes 4 crew members. The resin kit, 3D printed, consists of 16 pieces and is not sold painted.
