Il 39M Csaba (denominato così in onore del figlio di Attila, il re degli Unni) fu un'autoblindo prodotta in Ungheria e utilizzata dall'esercito magiaro durante la Seconda guerra mondiale sul fronte orientale, in particolar modo durante l'operazione Barbarossa.

Progettata dall'ingegner Nicholas Straussler, venne costruita in un centinaio di esemplari che vennero forniti in dotazione ai reparti di ricognizione del corpo corazzato ungherese.

La Csaba era armata con un fucilone anti-carro Solothurn da 20 mm ed una mitragliatrice Gebauer da 8 mm installati su una torretta centrale. Lo scafo aveva una corazzatura di appena 9 mm. Il veicolo era equipaggiato anche con una seconda mitragliatrice leggera, che sparava in ruolo antiaereo attraverso il portellone posteriore; la mitragliatrice era amovibile e poteva essere sbarcata dall'equipaggio per le ricognizioni appiedate. Il mezzo aveva due postazioni di guida, una frontale ed una addizionale posteriore.

Nella confezione Mussini si trova un modello della Csaba pre-montato, ma non incollato, nè dipinto. E' diviso in tre parti: scafo superiore e inferiore e torretta rotabile. E' inclusa anche una torretta aperta con il figurino del capocarro.

The 39M Csaba (named after the son of Attila the Hun) was a hungarian armoured car designed by Nicholas Straussler, used extensively on the Eastern Front, during the operation Barbarossa.

The Csaba had a 20 mm Solothurn anti-tank gun and a coaxial 8 mm Gebauer machine gun fixed on a centrally mounted turret, with 9 mm armoured plating. The 20 mm cannon had 200 shells in 5 shell capacity magazines, for a total of 40 magazines, meanwhile the coaxial 8 mm Gebauer machine gun had 3000 rounds in 100 round metal belts. The vehicle was also equipped with a detachable 8 mm Solothurn light machine gun fired through the rear hatch in the anti-aircraft role. The crew could dismount and carry this LMG when conducting reconnaissance on foot. It also had two driving positions – one at the front as normal, and an additional one at the rear.

In the box you can find a Csaba kit to assemble, unpainted. The model is divided into 3 parts: the hull, the lower part of the hull and the turret that can be rotated. It's also included a turret with open hatch and a figure of the tank commander

Returning the goods

After notifying us of your withdrawal you have 14 days to send the products back to us. The item must be returned in its original packaging, with all the parts intact as at the time of delivery. You are responsible for any diminished value of the goods resulting from handling other than what is necessary to establish their nature, characteristics and functioning.

The cost of returning the goods is at your expense, except where the product is damaged or not as described, in which case we bear it.

Refund

We will refund you all payments received, including the cost of standard outbound delivery, within 14 days of the day on which we are informed of your withdrawal. If, when placing the order, you chose a more expensive delivery than the standard one we offer, the difference remains at your expense.

We may withhold the refund until we have received the goods back or until you supply evidence of having sent them back, whichever happens first. The refund is made using the same means of payment used for the purchase, at no additional cost to you.

When the right of withdrawal does not apply

The right of withdrawal does not apply to goods made to measure or clearly personalised (art. 59 of the Italian Consumer Code). This category includes models painted on request and work carried out specifically for you: we always tell you before confirming the order.

Damaged, missing or defective products

If one or more items arrive damaged, or if something is missing, write to us straight away at info@mussinisas.it, attaching a photo if possible. We will send the missing or damaged parts, or replace the whole product, at no cost to you.

In addition to the right of withdrawal, as a consumer you are entitled to the 24-month legal guarantee of conformity from delivery, provided for by articles 128 et seq. of the Italian Consumer Code. In the event of a lack of conformity you may request the repair or replacement of the goods and, under the conditions laid down by law, a price reduction or the termination of the contract.

Where we accept returns from

We accept returns from any country. For purchases made outside the European Union the same conditions described here apply; any customs duties and import taxes already paid are not refundable by us.
