L'Sd. Kfz. 232 era un'autoblindo che operò dal 1933 alla fine della seconda guerra mondiale con le forze armate tedesche. La SdKfz 232 fu prodotta in due versioni, differenti sia morfologicamente sia come periodi di produzione: la Sd.Kfz. 232 Schwere Panzerspähwagen (Fu) 6 rad (Autoblindo pesante da ricognizione SdKfz 232 a 6 ruote, con impianto radio potenziato - suffisso Fu) e successivamente la SdKfz 232 Schwere Panzerspähwagen (Fu) 8 rad, che differiva dalla precedente in quanto era fornita di 8 ruote per migliorare il comportamento su terreno vario.
Le autoblindo Sd.Kfz. 232 erano le autoblindo su cui era stato installato l'impianto radio per comunicazioni a lunga distanza. La grossa e ingombrante antenna a traliccio dell'apparecchiatura radio rendeva questi veicoli difficilmente mimetizzabili , tanto che dal 1942 in poi le antenne a traliccio cominciarono ad essere sostituite con antenne verticali. Entrambe le autoblindo conservavano l'armamento e le caratteristiche meccaniche delle SdKfz 231 originali. La caratteristica più tipica di questi veicoli era che la torretta fungeva da supporto per l'antenna a traliccio, questo costrinse ad aggiungere due supporti ad L alla torretta ed un anello di rotazione su cui potevano ruotare i bracci corti della L all'antenna per permettere la rotazione della torretta. La produzione della SdKfz 232 6-rad iniziò nel 1932 e la distribuzione alle truppe nel 1933, durando fino al 1935. A partire dal 1940 furono ritirate dalle unità di prima linea. La produzione della Sd.Kfz. 232 8 rad iniziò nel 1935 e si protrasse fino alla fine del 1942.
La Sd.Kfz. 232 8 rad era un fuoristrada eccellente grazie al sistema di sterzata e di trasmissione del movimento su tutte e otto le ruote. Alcune caratteristiche distintive del SdKfz 232 8 rad erano la capacità di superare ostacoli verticali di 0,5 m, attraversare trincee larghe fino a 1,25 m e di guadare fiumi profondi fino a 1,3 m. Le caratteristiche come fuori strada del Sd.Kfz. 232 6 rad erano invece molto più basse, essendo limitate dal fatto che le uniche ruote motrici erano quelle posteriori, in quanto era costruita sul telaio di un autocarro 6x4.

Il kit si compone di: carrozzeria, chassis, le 8 ruote, i sostegni laterali, le antenne ai 4 angoli del veicolo, l'antenna radio e il pezzo frontale. E' incluso anche il figurino del capocarro.
The Sd. Kfz. 232 was an armored car that operated from 1933 until the end of World War II with the German armed forces. The Sd.Kfz. 232 was produced in two versions, differing both morphologically and in production periods: the Sd.Kfz. 232 Schwere Panzerspähwagen (Fu) 6 rad (Heavy Reconnaissance Armored Car Sd.Kfz. 232 with 6 wheels, equipped with enhanced radio system - suffix Fu) and later the Sd.Kfz. 232 Schwere Panzerspähwagen (Fu) 8 rad, which differed from the former by having 8 wheels to improve performance on various terrains.
The Sd.Kfz. 232 armored cars were equipped with a radio system for long-distance communication. The large and cumbersome lattice antenna of the radio equipment made these vehicles difficult to camouflage, so from 1942 onwards, lattice antennas began to be replaced with vertical antennas. Both armored cars retained the armament and mechanical characteristics of the original SdKfz 231. The most distinctive feature of these vehicles was that the turret served as a support for the lattice antenna, necessitating the addition of two L-shaped supports to the turret and a rotating ring on which the short arms of the L attached to the antenna could rotate, allowing the turret to turn. Production of the SdKfz 232 6-rad began in 1932, with distribution to the troops starting in 1933, and continued until 1935. Starting in 1940, they were withdrawn from frontline units. Production of the Sd.Kfz. 232 8 rad began in 1935 and continued until the end of 1942.
The Sd.Kfz. 232 8 rad was an excellent off-road vehicle thanks to its steering and transmission system on all eight wheels. Some distinctive features of the SdKfz 232 8 rad included the ability to overcome vertical obstacles of 0.5 m, cross trenches up to 1.25 m wide, and ford rivers up to 1.3 m deep. In contrast, the off-road capabilities of the Sd.Kfz. 232 6 rad were much lower, being limited by the fact that the only driving wheels were the rear ones, as it was built on the chassis of a 6x4 truck.
Each Mussini package includes a complete Sd. Kfz. 232 with a double turret featuring an open or closed hatch. The kit consists of: body, chassis, 8 wheels, side supports, antennas at the 4 corners of the vehicle, the radio antenna, and the front piece. The figure of the tank commander is also included.

Returning the goods
After notifying us of your withdrawal you have 14 days to send the products back to us. The item must be returned in its original packaging, with all the parts intact as at the time of delivery. You are responsible for any diminished value of the goods resulting from handling other than what is necessary to establish their nature, characteristics and functioning.
The cost of returning the goods is at your expense, except where the product is damaged or not as described, in which case we bear it.
Refund
We will refund you all payments received, including the cost of standard outbound delivery, within 14 days of the day on which we are informed of your withdrawal. If, when placing the order, you chose a more expensive delivery than the standard one we offer, the difference remains at your expense.
We may withhold the refund until we have received the goods back or until you supply evidence of having sent them back, whichever happens first. The refund is made using the same means of payment used for the purchase, at no additional cost to you.
When the right of withdrawal does not apply
The right of withdrawal does not apply to goods made to measure or clearly personalised (art. 59 of the Italian Consumer Code). This category includes models painted on request and work carried out specifically for you: we always tell you before confirming the order.
Damaged, missing or defective products
If one or more items arrive damaged, or if something is missing, write to us straight away at info@mussinisas.it, attaching a photo if possible. We will send the missing or damaged parts, or replace the whole product, at no cost to you.
In addition to the right of withdrawal, as a consumer you are entitled to the 24-month legal guarantee of conformity from delivery, provided for by articles 128 et seq. of the Italian Consumer Code. In the event of a lack of conformity you may request the repair or replacement of the goods and, under the conditions laid down by law, a price reduction or the termination of the contract.
Where we accept returns from
We accept returns from any country. For purchases made outside the European Union the same conditions described here apply; any customs duties and import taxes already paid are not refundable by us.
